Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept my insurance?

​

We accept most major vision and medical insurance plans.  Vision insurance typically covers an annual "routine" eye examinations where the health of the eyes is assessed and a prescription for glasses and/or contacts is provided to help improve visual clarity.  Medical insurance covers "medical" eye examinations where one or more specific eye conditions are evaluated and a treatment and management plan is determined.  Medical insurance is typically used for any eye exam when a patient presents complaining of a problem that is not corrected with glasses or contact lenses.

We accept the following VISION insurance plans:

-VSP, EyeMed, Community Eye Care, Spectera, March Vision, and more

We accept the following MEDICAL insurance plans:

-Medicare, BCBS, Humana, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna, and more

​

If you have a NC Medicaid plan, please visit our sister location Provision Family Eyecare for vision and medical eye examinations.

What if you do not accept my insurance?

​

We offer an affordable "Friends and Family" self-pay rate for comprehensive eye exams, glasses, contact lens evaluations, and medical visits.

Do you sell glasses?

​

Yes!  We have a large selection of affordable glasses to fit every budget.  We offer lens options that include shatter resistance,  thin lenses, anti-glare, blue light filtering, photochromic, tints, and polarization.  

​

Do you sell contact lenses?

​

Yes!  We are able to order most common contact lens brands with a valid prescription from our office or elsewhere.  We will even send you reminders when it's time to reorder!
